Waypoint Academy is looking for Guides who believe young people are capable of far more than we typically allow—and are willing to build an environment that holds them to that standard.
Guides at Waypoint do not lecture, entertain, or manage behavior. They design and protect a learning environment where students take ownership of their work, their time, and their progress.
This role requires judgment, restraint, and a willingness to let learners struggle productively rather than stepping in too quickly.

Someone Who:
Asks strong questions instead of providing quick answers
Is comfortable holding high standards without micromanaging
Believes freedom must be earned and maintained through responsibility
Can remain calm, consistent, and observant in a learner-driven environment
Takes pride in building systems and culture rather than seeking the spotlight
If this description resonates, we’d be glad to hear from you. Send a brief introduction and resume to admin@waypointacademy.org and include a short note on why learner-driven education appeals to you.
